Brad Pasternak, MD

Brad Pasternak is an associate professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where they care for over 500 patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Dr. Brad Pasternak completed his fellowship training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with a focus on immunology and pathophysiology of IBD. He is currently part of the national scientific advisory board for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation as well as the IBD committee of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Reports. He has authored numerous publications and has been involved in preparing guidelines for treatment of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease. He has an avid interest in nutritional therapy, quality improvement and transition of care.
